Tilt Table Test: used to evaluate and diagnose unexplained
vasovagal syncope (fainting) or neuro-cardiogenic episodes.
EP Studies: performed to establish the site or
origin of a tachycardia (fast heart rate) or a bradycardia (slow
heart rate) and can also gather information about certain
abnormal heart rhythms (arrythmias) that may require an insertion
of a pacemaker or a implantable defribillator or catheter ablation.
EP With Ablation: non-surgical technique that destroys
(ablates) parts of the abnormal electrical pathway that causes abnormal
heart rhythm.
Pacemaker Insertion: implant in patients to regulate
the heart's rhythm and prevent the heart from slowing down.
Defribillator Insertion: implant in patients to
treat dangerously fast heart rates that occur in the lower chambers
of the heart (ventricles).
Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT): implant
in patients with heart failure, to pace the lower chambers of the
heart to improve your heart's normal synchrony.
