“It is in giving that we receive”… St. Francis of Assisi

Through your generosity St. Francis Medical Center has continued to provide essential and excellent healthcare services to all members of our community. Thank you for considering giving a gift to St. Francis MedicalCenter. Some of the ways that you may offer your support include:

  • Gifts in the form of cash or check

  • Planned Gifts: With Foresight, Planned Gifts such as Trusts and Bequests provide a way for you to ensure that the legacy of St. Francis Medical Center's mission will continue for generations to come. Those who remember St. Francis Medical Center in their Estate Plans are eligible for membership in the "St Francis and St. Clare Legacy Society"

  • Non-Cash Gifts: Such as appreciated stock, securities, real estate, and individed interest in property or life insurance is another way that you can give while offering the donor tax incentives.

  • Memorials/In Honor of: These tributes offer you the opportunity to remember or celebrate the life of a friend, Doctor, Nurse, Employee or loved one by making a gift in his/her name. You will also receive acknowledgement that the gift was received. Those you honor will be sent notification that you made a gift to the hospital in their name. The amount of the gift will remain confidential.

  • Honor Your Doctor: Gifts of $500.00 or more made in Honor of Your Doctor or in Memory of Your Doctor will be placed on the Physician Recognition Wall located near the St. Francis and St. Clare Chapel. When a gift in the amount of $500.00 or more is made to St. Francis Medical Center In Honor of or In Memory of a Physician, their name along with the donor/sponsor will be listed on the Physician Recognition Wall. The donor/sponsor will receive a beautiful card that they can send to their Physician announcing their gift. You can make a gift in any amount to St. Francis Medical Center In Honor of or In Memory of a Physician. Gifts less than $500 would not appear on the Physican Wall. However, all gifts are very much appreciated and would be acknowledged with a letter of thanks to the donor from the SFMC Foundation. The Physician would also receive a letter from the Foundation informing him/her of your kind gift without specifying the amount.

  • Name a Guardian Angel: When you acknowledge a caregiver (physician, nurse, or staff member) with a tax deductible gift to St. Francis Medical Center the caregiver will receive an "angel lapel pin" and a certificate in recognition of your gift (no amount will be specified. You as the donor will receive a letter acknowledging your tax deductible gift to St. Francis Medical Center. Our "Guardian Angel" Program provides an opportunity to recognize with a tax deductible gift, a caregiver who made a difference during your stay at St. Francis Medical Center. Your gift will help St. Francis Medical Center continue its mission to be a transforming, healing presence in the community that we serve.

  • Naming Opportunities: This is a very special way to honor or memorialize someone special. You can establish a philanthropic fund or dedicate a room, facility, or an essential piece of equipment in their name.
