Our adult inpatient psychiatric program provides assessment services and short-term intensive psychiatric care. The goal of the mental health unit is to resolve the psychiatric emergency. We restore the individual to a level of functioning that promotes a return to the community. Our program includes an individualized treatment plan developed by a multidisciplinary team to address each patient’s needs. There is a Family/Significant Other Support Group held on Wednesday evenings for all patients' family/significant others at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. At the end of the meeting, participants may visit with the patients on the unit until 8:30 pm.
