The prestigious “Spirit of St. Francis” award was presented to Mr. Brian S. Bennett, Vice President and General Manager of Lawrence Lexus. This honor is given to an individual/organization who reflects the philosophy of caring as embodied by St. Francis of Assisi. According to Jerry Jablonowski, President and CEO of St. Francis Medical Center “The Spirit of St. Francis recipient demonstrates, among other attributes, that each individual has a moral responsibility to the community, to give something back or as Brian says ‘Pay it Forward’. Brian Bennett validates this, not just in his commitment to St. Francis Medical Center, but to the community at large. We are honored to add the name of Brian S. Bennett to the prestigious list of ‘Spirit of St. Francis’ award winners,” says Jerry Jablonowski, President and CEO of St. Francis Medical Center.

A musical video recapped the events of the past year at St. Francis Medical Center, and another video captured the special connectedness of mission/purpose between Brian Bennett and St. Francis Medical Center.

Co-chairs of the dinner dance were Dr. and Mrs. C. James Romano and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Moonan.

The event had 34 sponsors and raised a net of $155,000 to benefit St. Francis Medical Center. “We are most grateful to the friends of St. Francis Medical Center who choose to support us, their continued commitment helps us continue our mission to be a transforming, healing presence in the community that we serve” said Jerry Jablonowski, President & CEO of St. Francis Medical Center.
