Ten amateur chefs cooked up their best meatball recipe and were judged by “celebrity” judges: Alan Meinster, of Marsilio’s Catering; Emily Matticoli, of Emily’s Café & Catering; Elaine Moore, Restaurant Manager of The Trenton Country Club; Bob Pombo, of Sodexo; Anna Scozzari, of Enzo’s La Piccola Cucina; Wendell Pribila, former Mayor of Ewing; James F. Bishop, SFMC Trustee; and C. James Romano, M.D., SFMC Vice President of Medical Affairs
The official results, which were tabulated by Matthew Pribila, CPA, were as follows:
- Winner of the “Top Chef” First Annual Meatball Cook-Off for St. Francis Medical Center was Chef Freeholder Pat Colavita.
- Winner of the People’s Choice Award were: Chefs Dianne Clair, Michele Costanzo & Eileen Meagher.
- Honorable mention went to Chef Tony Persichilli, Mayor of Pennington.
- Honorable mention went to Chef Christy Stephenson & Chef Camille Amadio.
