St. Francis Medical Center has expanded its Board of Trustees to include three new board members. They are Sister Lillian Harrington, Brian Bennett and Simi Bakshi.
Sister Lillian Harrington entered the religious order of the Religious Teachers Filippini in 1959. A life-long educator, she has been the President of Villa Victoria Academy since 1991. She holds a B.S. degree in education from The College of New Jersey and an M.S. degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Throughout the years, Sister has served on Middle States evaluation teams, Diocese of Trenton curriculum committees, and on the Board of Directors of Martin House in Trenton.
Brian Bennett began his leadership experience with St. Francis when he joined the Foundation Board of Trustees in 2001. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Foundation Board. Brian has been the Vice President and General Manager of Lawrence Lexus for the past 23 years. A resident of Newtown, PA, Brian has been heavily involved with the hospital’s annual events and Lawrence Lexus is the host for the Meatball Cookoff each year. Brian attended Rider University and specialized in Marketing and Management.
Pennington resident, Simi Bakshi is currently the CFO of the University Physician Association at UMDNJ. An accomplished senior level healthcare professional, she holds a B.S. in Biology, a M.S. in Sociology and a MBA in Health & Medical Services Administration from Widner University. Simi is the Treasurer and Vice Chair of the LIFE St. Francis Board of Trustees.
