The St. Francis Cardiac Surgery Program has been ranked #1 by the State of New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. These results were published in May in the Healthcare Quality Assessment report 2007 for risk-adjusted mortality. The report contains an analysis of data collected on all patients undergoing open-heart surgery at the 18 hospitals that performed heart surgery in New Jersey. As stated in the report: "One important goal of the report is to provide New Jersey hospitals and surgeons with data they can use in assessing quality of care related to bypass surgery.

St. Francis Heart Hospital is the ONLY state-recognized cardiac surgery program in Mercer County AND is in the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for overall cardiac care.

We provide specialized services such as Bariatric Services, Wound Care Services, Neuroscience Institute, and Preventive Services.
